Mary Kay has been one of the main names in the high end beauty industry for years, with their products sold door to door, online, and at massive parties for decades. Their skin care line has only made a name for itself in the last 10 years, but they have quickly overtaken the popularity of their makeup. The Mary Kay Acne Gel is a good example of popular products that are still only sold through the manufacturer.
Users have claimed mixed results with this gel. For many, it provides a nice alternative to those products that have to lay heavily on the face, and so interfere with makeup. Only a small amount of this light weight acne gel has to be applied in order to work, once or twice a day at most. It is also safe for most skin types, and works well on sensitive skin, which easily breaks out of becomes irritated using other products.
Sadly, it has it’s down side. When used with other products, it often causes a reaction for more delicate skin types. It also dries the skin out, and so has to be used with a creamy moisturizer to keep the face from flaking.
