One of the biggest providers of electronics equipment to major companies around the world, Cisco is one digital products maker that can make a huge difference when they make a shift in how they do business. Many have cited that the company has deep in roads to top tier corporations and therefore wields quite a bit of control through its product offerings to them. They have been able to define the information tech world with what they offer and now the company is setting its sites on the consumer end of the market by announcing that it is going to offer a line of Linksys wireless routers designed just for consumers. This, in addition to their Valet and Valet Plus Wi Fi routers are meant to give home consumers the same level of quality the company is known for providing to big companies, but will not take an IT pro to set up. The ease of set up is one of the major focuses of these product lines and this is what the company aims to offer consumers in terms of the base level value.
In addition to being easy to set up on the hardware end of things, Cisco is looking to offer their Connect software which makes the advanced consumer features they offer for the home networking of computers much easier even for amateur computer users. The auto configuration features help make things easier for those who want a wireless home network for their computer, video gaming systems and other popular electronic devices used on a home network.
